I Will Not Mint Any More Boring Art

This work was created in a moment where crypto art has been described, among many things, as emancipatory, environmentally destructive, fun, the future, an assault on contemporary art, recycled kitsch, beautiful and visual junk food. It’s a lot to consider when contemplating my contribution going forward.

My response is this piece, promising you (and trying to convince myself) that ‘I will not mint any more boring art’. Concerned that the 60 second duration may bore, I’ve added a variety of shapes, colors, swaying palm trees and spinning figures. It’s perhaps a lot to consider, but it seems like an appropriate place to begin.
