Toy Story: The higher ground | Toy story #3

"We meet again at last" -

The last we saw Anakin Skywalker was with his epic battle against Obi-Wan Kenobi, set on a similar backdrop. This time, however, things have changed just a little bit.

'Toy Story' is a one-of-a-kind photo collectible series exploring conceptual dystopian themes conveyed with everyday elements found at home and toys figurines used as props. The project was a product of my time at home during (covid-19) quarantine, bound to my small apartment with my favorite pop culture action figures, with a desperate urge to tell larger-than-life stories visually.

The idea is to create liberating, limitless, fictional scenes but within the confines of my home by building physical sets (dioramas) using recognizable objects as props.
