Connected (1/2)
Connections: They sometimes last a moment or at times keep revisiting you like a melody with myriad memories. To experience both and many in one life is to be truly blessed. Here is a tale of 2 moments I absolutely cherish in my photography journey so far. A forgotten connection revisited me on this beautiful morning from my initial photography days. I was busy clicking this man and his cattle at my grandparents’ village when he suddenly screamed with bright eyes and joy ‘You are Chandu baisa’s(my mom) son right?’ I was taken aback! How does this person know me? Have we ever met?
After talking to him I learned that he used to help my grand mom to take care of my mom (when she was a kid) and even had a brief interaction with an infant me. He narrated some fun incidents from my mom’s childhood after that.
A connection that was definitely out of my head, carved a special place in my heart thereon and has been preserved through this picture.
