Wherever I was, I was constantly reminded of what King David said in Psalm 66:10, ”For You, O God, have tested us; You have refined us as silver is refined.”
Wherever I was, I was learning that refinement is a process. A constant, ongoing process. It cannot be reached. It is never a destination.
I am learning to let go. Of all that has been wanting to leave. Of all that desired to drive away. It learning to believe again. To build faith.
Refinement teaches me to keep going for all that I am meant to be. All that I am asked to bear light for.
In 2020, I moved to a new country, went into lockdown, and spent one of the most enlightening times of my existence, and decided to work on my business full time.
Life moves. So do the times. And people move on. We all do, eventually.
I learned about the reality of losing close loved ones. The reality of opening my eyes to have and love those who are alive.
The reality of experiencing God firsthand. He is closer than I had thought.
