LAUNCH CRANE

This is one my illustrations from the book Concept Design 2, published by Design Studio Press. It's just another day at the pre-flight center, checking and double-checking all systems before the control module is craned into position. Two engineers contemplate their lunch orders in the foreground as others below return from break. This piece provided me the opportunity to do lots of form sculpting with value and perspective drawing construction, two things I love. Image size 3966x5272 pixels.
