The Persian Garden that called ‘GOLESTAN’

This animated piece digitally depicted a golden painting. In making of the original painting which has meticulously painted with 24K Gold, I was heavily inspired by the lacquer paintings at the Golestan Palace Museum of Tehran.

The aforementioned paintings portray birds and flowers which contain two important symbols. In Persian literature, the bird is a symbol of a lover's beloved, which has its own word (Ma'shoogh ~ approx. translation is a romantic sweetheart who may or may not love back)

Another important symbol is the flowers which are adored by the birds singing for them. The unfurling of the flowers is a reflection of perfection in the blossoming season which occurs precisely according to the laws of the universe. These flowers give life to the surroundings and they represent vitality and the continuance of life.
