Part lll of lll of my series "Mirrors"
California Street is one of the most popular locations in the world for photography. I've met people here that have traveled far and wide to catch a classic cable car lined up with the Bay Bridge.
Usually, photographers will line up in the middle of a crosswalk, in a busy street to get a straight shot. This day there were about 20 photographers standing in the crosswalk. With nowhere else to stand, I started to leave.
As I was about to pull out and drive away - I checked my blindspot. A cable car was rolling up and through some golden light and I framed it with my mirror.
I didn't get the straight shot, but I got something unique. Something special. In my blindspot.
