71st St. Miami is a photo animation. The base image in this work is a photo-collage of the same name from a series called Exit Vision. The pastel figure walking through the image is a metaphor for our own visceral experience of color. This animation serves as an extension of the core ideas at the heart of my photographic practice, i.e., creating urban dreamscapes that defy time and space, and the recontextualizing of the physical world.
