Spiti Valley – a land of untouched and mystifying beauty – a cold desert mountain area located deep inside the Himalayas in the North Eastern part of Himachal Pradesh, India. I had the opportunity to witness the surreal beauty of this valley twice in my life.
While trekking the Himalayas and heading towards the Key Monastery, I noticed the rays of sunlight fall on the peaks behind the monument. The interplay of light was magnificent with only a part of the landscape illuminated. I pulled out my camera which had an 85mm prime lens attached to it and captured a three-frame panorama and add the falling comets during the post processing.
