Rho Eclipse | The Genesis

In May of 2021, a Super Flower Blood Moon aligned with Rho Ophiuchi - a bright and colourful star system that extends from the core of the Milky Way.

Standing out by the beach witnessing the full moon turn red as it entered earth's shadow was truly extraordinary. As it dimmed and the stars began to appear, the universe was revealed in all of its colour and detail. In the short window of time I had to witness this phenomenon, I had a plan of what I wanted to capture. I knew that if I was able to pull it off, it would make one of the greatest and rarest night sky photos I’d ever take. In the short space of totality, I managed to capture what I had in mind. There is nothing quite like the resulting image of an event that will not occur again until far beyond our lifetimes - I am beyond proud to present it as one of the most unique images you will find as an NFT.

Prints can be arranged.
