The Laga Sisterhood is the most like their Mother; their Mother created them by continuing to dissolve into smaller parts as God had. All Laga are one tributary of a singular entity that calls itself Laga. When Laga take humanoid form, they can only stay away from a water source for so long before they weaken, grow small, and desperate. In this way, no Laga can actually “die”, but are redistributed to the largest water source and reconstituted.

Laga only come out at night or in heavily shadowed places, often near beaches, grottos, caves, and springs. Their temple is the only one that cannot be seen by other Sisterhoods easily, as it is deep underwater.
