Monuments: Monument 04: Santorini Island

This animation is part of my series “Monuments”, which shows part of the identity of monuments and memorable places. This pixel art is part of the identity of Santorini Island, one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. In this monument, 7 components of the identity of Santorini Island have been magnified:

1. Dark blue domes on the cubes.
2. The white body of the buildings next to the blue of the sea and the sky
3. Bougainvillea tree as the dominant vegetation.
4. The colors and space proportions of the alleys.
5. Share the water of each villa in the form of a pool
6. Geographical location and proximity to the sea And mountains.
7. Cubes on top of each other
