1-bit Woodblock: Kamisuki

Based on a 1920 woodblock print by Hashiguchi Goyō which was not titled but is often referred to as "Woman Combing her Hair (Portrait of Kodaira Tomi)".

In 1984 a 1-bit interpretation was created by Susan Kare at Apple and featured in the Macintosh launch and on MacPaint packaging.

My interpretation is created at "Full Page Display" resolution, 640×864px, and presented @4x (300dpi) ready for printing.
