Shining through

The image involves the viewer himself in the situation, because it picks up a body feeling that everyone knows about himself. The viewer holds his breath, realizes that a wrong movement could be painful and has to figure out for himself how to get out of this situation.

The image reflects my own personal journey and research about being a woman. The beauty, clarity and colorfulness and at the same time painful, rigid moments that you go through as a woman.

One of my main goals in photography is that the emotions in the picture are awakened in the viewer himself. Because only in this way can the viewer engage with the subject and the emotion shown in the image.
