Golden Record
Right now, as you are reading, some man-made probes are traveling alone for more than twenty billion kilometers above our heads. In cosmic silence, these human artifacts flee at incredible speed, now out of our star system: they will reach their mysterious destinations in 40,000 years. They are the space probes of the Voyager program, launched in 1977. Inside is the Golden Record: a gramophone record containing: coordinates of the earth, sounds and images selected to show the different varieties of life and culture of the Earth.
With this message, NASA also wanted to insert an all-encompassing message aboard Voyager 1 and Voyager 2, a sort of time capsule with the aim of communicating the history of our world to any form of extraterrestrial life.
The proceeds from this auction will be donated in part to the orphanage called "The house of faith and David". It is located in Zambia, along the Lusaka ring road. To provide education and support for these orphans. Together we can do it.
