Coastal trees framing the iconic South Coast of Oregon. A place that only gets more impressive with each visit. This image was taken during my first trip to this region, after a quiet night, and a slow morning wandering around the forest. The sound of the water was white noise, low and rumbling, and the air was thick with salt and mist.
The beaches I grew up on were flat and rockless, with small waves, and they never struck me as rugged. To see the ocean like this was pure inspiration- and one of favorite memories.
