The Isthmus

Five days in & we finally reach it. This thin slice of land separating the Sea of Oman and the Arabian Sea is the only connection between the peninsula and the rest of the continent. It is unquestionably a sight to behold, but trekking in from the outer fjords overland like the ancient inhabitants must have, showed us how mentally and physically consuming it must have been.
