Inheritance (right part)

This work is the right part of the triptych Three subjects related to my childhood and directly with my parents. Feather. Homemade knife. Herbarium of lilacs.

While sorting through the family archive, I discovered various objects and photographs of my parents, things related to my personal history. This pushed me to the idea of creating a series of paintings based on the experience of revising the past and my feelings in contact with things and images. I opened up the opportunity to create a certain symbolic meaning through the processing of these materials, using the techniques and technologies that I usually create my paintings with.

The technique of acrylic, airbrushing and digital image processing makes it possible to achieve the meanings I need to convey the phenomenon of perceiving personal history through symbols and significant figures.
