Emergency - Darurat

Darurat means state of emergency. It was declared in January 2021 to control the third wave of the pandemic in my country. we had 151,066 cases and 586 deaths. today we have 1,299767 cases, 11,162 deaths. Devastating numbers for a country with only 32 million people.

This series was started a year ago. i didn't imagine things will get as bad as it is today.

Kita dan Mereka or Us vs Them is a reflection of how the people are barely surviving in this pandemic. it looks into everyday issues, survival, depression and the trauma faced by the people in Malaysia that is reflective of the lived experience of many globally.
