Audrey Hepburn - The Human Records Series

The Human Records Series is a series of works by John Kiss. Painted on old Phonograph records, Kiss began to spray portraits of favorite people in history, all of whom broke “human records” in their talent, activism or accomplishments.

The dark black background of these LP records served Kiss as an inspiration. Onto the black background Kiss sprayed layers of cutout stencils he prepared, in order to illuminate the facial features of key historic figures, or of contemporaries who had already left their mark on history.

Audrey Hepburn- was a great actor. She had mad style: simple, elegant, timeless, and classy, Audrey was and continues to be a style inspiration to this very day. Can you think of the little black dress without her?
