On that cold winter afternoon, I was walking through the forest amid the snows. As I wandered through the trees, the air began to thicken as if from a mist that was crawling between the trees. Imagine this truly picturesque phenomenon, I was speechless with delight and grabbed my camera. However, after a moment of reflection, I realised that the source of the fog was in fact the water vapor rising from the snow melting hastily on the path. In fact, the path in front of me was boiling violently, melting the snow into liquid water. But then, in an instant the phenomenon stopped, the path froze suddenly into black ice. In a flash figure emerged from its depth, followed by another. The temperature suddenly dropped. I felt this piercing cold, I was shivering. Before me there was an abyss of despair screaming at me from the trees around. Then all of it suddenly fell silent. The figures began to move towards me, bringing with them a haze of coldness and terror. Then I took this picture.
