Several years ago I went on phototrip to shoot several abandoned churches in eastern Europe. After several failed attempts, they were all closed, I stumbled upon this small church and I was in for a huge surprise. When peeking through the windows I looked at 9 ghostly figures sitting in the pews dressed in wrinkly white cloths. Why on earth would they put those figures in the church. Were they left behind after the last mass? Was it some kind of religious ritual? It was a scary sight. I got a lot of questions what was underneath the cloths. I must admit I never peeked underneath. I wish i had :)
