Before standing atop of the Rowena Crest Viewpoint clutching my tripod for nearly 9 straight hours, there were months of planning that led to this bucket shot. There are 40 images in the upper third of the image alone. These are all stacked in post-production to get a tack-sharp version of the Milky Way. Beneath those captures is a shot from just after sunset, during blue hour, where the landscape is mostly dimly lit and there are no harsh shadows present. On that is an exposure from another hour or two later where two cars passed each other in opposite directions and left behind this amazing light trail that I captured using a long exposure. I hope you enjoy 'Supernatural Symmetry' as much as I do.
