Fear is the companion of a lie

I always refer to the great minds of the past when creating my works. I do it in order to reflect on some eternal issues, and come to my own conclusions. In this work, I paid my attention to the important problem of being dishonest. This problem is raised in the tragedy « King Lear» by William Shakespeare. The play strongly condemns deception. Shakespeare believes that people lie because they are afraid of being responsible for the truth. I suppose Shakespeare’s thoughts are relevant today. This installation is my own vision of the play. In my view, the main character of the play is not the King at all, but the fool. He represents the sincerity and conscience of the characters. In the plot, you can see that gracious lies lose to the brutal truth. The soundtrack was written specially to convey the atmosphere of this art.
