Niagara Winter

This is the world famous Niagara Falls, as seen from the Canadian side, at the base of the Horseshoe Falls in the bitter cold of winter. I used a ten-stop neutral density filter to increase the exposure time and create a soft blur feel in the motion of the water. There was a thunderous roar in my ears and the spray from the falls was freezing on my lens and filter, making for quite a difficult shoot. But the satisfaction I get from this image proves to me it was worth it.
