Lorgair Road

At first I thought it was a shadow. A hound-like figure appeared before us out of thin air as if it were made of smoke, rearing its head to reveal rows of bright white teeth. I tore my gaze away from them and turned to Lonna, about to mumble something to her about having turned down the wrong road. But her eyes widened in fear as she too moved her gaze away from the beasts outside... to her rear view mirror.
