"Fast youth" is critizising the consumerist world as we know it nowadays and how our material way of thinking is slowly destroying the human community. Our weakness of giving in to superficial desires such as money, fast cars, splendid buildings and good sex is slowly but steady taking effect on our normal lives, letting us drift apart from each other and is forcing us into always trying to pose as our ideals.
