Destination Unknown

Destination Unknown - Death Valley Series

A photography trip with friends was hard to pass up. The destination? Out there in the desert. In the vastness of sand, rock, and mountains.

I arrived with no expectations yet filled with excitement. When my eyes first set on this folded terrain, I was left me speechless. How could something so alien looking exist on our precious Earth?

I struggled at first to find a composition but then noticed these two explorers in the valley. They brought scale to the massive golden rock formations. They helped anchor this photograph.

The hikers represent me and you as we go forward to destinations unknown in this life. Moving forward seeking the next adventure. Ready to be filled with awe at the natural beauty our world has.
