E T H E R N A L by Richard Wright

The riverways, once busy and teeming with life, now flow silently past the ancient pyramids and temples of the city of Megadon. Long abandoned by it's creators, it's buildings now stand empty and silent.

A lone man dreams, trying to recall the stories told of the elder race and of the war that forced them to leave.

All at once, the silence is broken by a strange sound...

Inspired by my love of prog rock and old science fiction books like 2001 and Rendezvous with Rama.
