Praia da Camilo is a sleepy bay in the Algarve, Portugal. It is surrounded by rocks that make you feel safe. Even when a thunderstorm was approaching, I felt safe amidst the large rock formations and waited countless minutes for the perfect wave that now decorates the foreground of this picture. It should invite the viewer to dive closer into the picture to soak up the beauty of Portugal. The washed out caves on the beach have served perfectly as a frame to focus on the rock in the sea. As if things couldn't get any more better, the thunderstorm positioned itself right on top of the rock, giving me one of the best compositions in my career as a photographer.
