Admiration for the King of Flowers

In Chinese culture, the peony is the king of all flowers. It is the most popular symbolism for wealth and rank. These birds are of my own fictional creations, named “白頭鳥”, from”白頭偕老” which means “to reach old age together with your loved one". That is the wish of this painting to its owner: To have a wealthy life, and to reach old age together with your loved one.
