Khonsu is the ancient Egyptian god of the Moon. The name reflects the fact that the Moon travels across the night sky, which means "traveller," and also had the titles "Embracer," "Pathfinder," and "Defender," as he was thought to watch over those who travel at night, As the god of light in the night. I was inspired by this story. This piece was made from stacking and blending 30 images. Which took 2 weeks to edit. My goal was to get the clouds moving past the moon and paint them if you will capturing the glow bouncing off of them.
