As an Astrophotographer, it certainly helps being an introvert. All that time, alone, under the stars in locations you don't usually visit at night. This time is as valuable as ever, your mind will wander, and creativity sparkles.
On this particular night, it rained for a few hours just after sunset. So I found a cave, and had a nap to wait out the rain. Upon wakening, a stench had entered that cave. Just a couple of metres away, a large Sea Lion was asleep with me! I'd checked the cave out before my kip, was empty then, not so much now. Time to get out and shoot, as the rain had just cleared, exposing this epic view.
Not so alone after-all.
