The Lie of a Fantasy Land

I feel the heat of the fire, but it does not warm me. I do not trust, something is bothering me. I cannot find comfort. It feels like a lie. Seems like the dream I always wanted but I feel like I am living a lie. The butterflies sometimes feel real, sometimes it is comforting, for a brief moment at least. Then comes the same feeling, someone or something is watching. And this pain I feel every day, feels intentional. I feel I am living in a lie with no escape.
