Mighty Ysgithyrwn

Illustration inspired by one of the characters of the Mabinogion, a collection of welsh tales.

Ysgithyrwn was a giant wild boar that appeared in Culhwch story. I added my personal touch by depicting him,the most fearsome boar of the land, with anthropomorphic features and in a wise pose.

This illustration is part of a series of dark fantasy characters.
