Blood diamonds

Its 2169AD, Some human bodies are illegally grown and genetically enhanced in labs away from the public eye. These are specifically enhanced in combat for the army and serve as a simulacrum of former vets. Before they are awake these bodies are stored and smuggled in gel matrix encased by rare protective glass in the shape of a diamond hence redefining the phrase "Blood diamonds".
