Fourth piece of "Dear Life"

A moment right before COVID-19 became severe.

On my way to document the wildfire, I stopped to see surfers on the sea by flying a drone. I watched surfers enjoying their everyday life. Spontaneously, I wanted not to forget the moment, so I documented the moment in a video rather than a photo.

Soon afterward, COVID-19 spread seriously, blocking the state border and shut-down caused a seize on ordinary everyday life. It was hard to imagine that this would happen when I was recording this video.

It was the moment I appreciated the importance of everyday life.
