Third piece of "Dear Life"
I drove down to New South Wales state (NSW), where the Australian wildfire was the most devastating, after two days of my arrival at Brisbane airport.
I arrived at the NSW national park late at night. The park was completely immersed in the dark, and I fell asleep in a car immediately. When I woke up, a scar of wildfire through the morning mist came into my view.
I was alone in the middle of the enormous aftermath in complete silence. I felt something hard to express in a simple word.
I felt lost. Navigation did not work. My phone did not work. I had to fly a drone to find a path. This photo was the first sign of the wildfire I encountered in Australia.
