Saint Michael losing the battle.

Our reinterpretation of "Saint Michael expelling Lucifer and the Rebellious Angels", 1622 by Peter Paul Rubens.

The original artwork was used in the 17th century to symbolize the triumph of the Catholic Church in the form of Saint Michael, over the Protestants.

In our case, the piece tells the opposite. 400 years have passed since the creation of the artwork, Catholicism has no power. The fight is almost lost for them, science and technology became the new demons.
