The Locust's Armageddon #001

This generative piece is #1 of 5 in a series inspired by a passage in the book of Revelation which reads,

"And out of the smoke locusts came down upon the earth and were given power like that of scorpions of the earth."

The passage is used to perceive the following aesthetic language and help create a visual palette that uses the staves of war as the symbol of war. You will also find pockets of explosions signifying the flight of locusts in large numbers. The colors, though innocent-looking, hide the fact that even the smallest of creatures can create the greatest destruction.
