Industrial sections of small town America fascinate me, particularly when they're nestled on the train tracks near the station. This once thriving depot is now an aging relic to a once booming economic age long since passed.
The La Junta Collection is part of a larger documentary project called The Good Bones; a visual ethnographic project documenting the decaying Main Streets across America. It takes a comprehensive look at how Main Streets slowly bled out over the past decades and explores the community impact of such decay. It also explores alternative economic modalities and how we, as a collective, can take the “Good Bones” of these once-thriving towns and find solutions to support these communities.
The collector of this NFT will receive Producer credits in the final production, slated for 2023-24 & a signed 16x20 fine art print shipped to the collector.
