Dawn at Monument Valley

Our ancestors enjoyed this view of Monument Valley for generations. Witnessing a sunrise from this vantage point is a truly humbling and magical experience. My goal is to transport you to that experience through this artwork so that you too can feel the power of this magnificent landscape. This is perhaps one of my absolute favorite desert locations of all time. I meticulously composed this piece in the rush of early sunrise, using the light on the sandstone to lead the viewer's eye up and through the image to the hero of the photograph - the rock formation known as the "Three Sisters" in the upper right of the frame.
