I grew up in rural Pennsylvania. I still live in rural Pennsylvania.
I've learned a lot of things in my life out here. How to work hard. How to give as much help as I can. How to stay true to myself. I'm a creative, but the work ethic that I was raised with is something I will never let go of.
I'm raising my son near the fields I have known all of my life. No city nonsense. No taxis. No suits. No egos. Only hard work and morals. Some nights, the sunsets aren't that bright.
I'm glad to see brightness and a gold rush wash over home every now and then. If I can teach my son to look for these moments through some darkness, I think he'll be alright.
