Rainbow Reflections - Guangzhou 广州 2018

A rare photo from the rooftops of Guangzhou taken in China in 2018. This was taken during my time as an urban explorer at the start of my journey into photography. I was led here after making friends with the local city urbanites and explorers. I met a group of deaf-mutes who really loved the thrill of climbing buildings to see the views and I joined their urban exploration group in China on their climbs. This was picture required climbing over 60 stories of stairs in an under-construction concrete building, without any ventilation, in a hot and humid summer. Areas of the building were still incomplete and we would have to jump over holes and climb railings just to reach the top. It was brutal. It was difficult, it was painful, but it was worth it. It's an experience that I cherish and I am excited to offer this memory and picture of mine to the world on the blockchain. It's a valuable moment to me and I hope it resonates without someone as well.
