North to the Future

North to the Future, or Alaska's state motto, is meant to represent Alaska as the state of promise. This photo is from my first visit to the state and is a huge part of the reason I fell in love with it. Alaska is wild, and feels completely untamed to me, compared to the rest of the U.S.

It gave me a sense of hope and genuine promise that the future is bright. I hope this photo gives someone else that same feeling.
