Magical Mount Doom

Mount Ngauruhoe or as you may know it Mount Doom. From, The Lord of the Rings series.

I mostly spend my time photographing the night sky, but there are days when you just can't keep your camera away. A friend and I just finished our long Tongariro alpine crossing in the rain, but as we were heading back home, we saw this jaw-dropping double rainbow over the infamous mount doom, making it look magical enough for us to pull and take this photo.
