Approach of the Storm

Capturing this image taught me a valuable lesson about persistence. 8 years and countless visits to this incredible landscape finally culminated into this one image.

My first visit to Death Valley was in 2011. Immediately enamored with the Dunes, I had a vision to create an image that captures their true brilliance. After 8 years of trips, I finally captured my dream photograph.
