Manhattan Bridge Bends

Part 3 of my Inception series. See Santa Monica Flatlands for Part 1, Lombard Curves for Part 2.

Piece taken in New York City of the Manhattan Bridge. This one was tricky to develop given the many dense apartments and how long the bridge actually was in real life. I had to "abridge" the length of the actual bridge to fit into this canvas. I also had to remove One Manhattan Square since it was a massive skyscraper that protruded awkwardly.
