Fragments of a Murmuration

15,000 starlings. 9 photographs. 1 image as an exclusive NFT.

I wanted to capture the sight, the sound and the feeling of one of nature's great spectacles; approximately 15 thousand starlings flying together in a murmuration as the sun sets in Studland, Dorset. Combining different photo techniques such as slow shutter and wide angle, I wanted this image to show the beauty of these birds as they work together to survive.
