A light-dusting of snow clings to the tips of the gathering of rocks known as ‘The Four Sisters’.
A unique detail in the middle of the foursome is the central positioning of the DFDS Ferry which crosses from North Shields to Amsterdam, Holland, and is captured in the middle of the photograph, nicely nestled between the two inner rocks.
The foreground is a much more exciting affair, with the noise and swooshery of the hypnotic wave-action.
This, right here, is why I love seascapery so much.
